Prize Money & Trophies (Adults & Juniors)

Adult Section: Prize Money, Cups & Medals

ADULTS PRIZE MONEY: 1st £3, 2nd £2, 3rd £1

unless marked with an asterisk * in the classes' list, in which case:

1st £5, 2nd £4, 3rd £3

  • All Adult Sections have Cups & Trophies within each Division

  • Please download the classes for each division to find out more

  • Adult Cups & Trophies will be presented in the Main Arena from 4.40pm in the Main Arena. Names of the cup winners should be prominently displayed in the main marquee and by the Secretary’s Tent.

  • Adult Prize money is small amounts of cash. Prize money may be collected on the day of the show from the Information Point gazebo adjacent to the Secretary’s Tent between 4.40 and 5.15 pm.

Junior Section: Points, Cups & Prizes

​Points awarded:

1st = 10 points, 2nd = 8 points, 3rd = 6 points, Highly Commended = 4 points

Prizes: 1st prize £3, 2nd prize £2, 3rd prize £1

A cup to keep: awarded for the most points gained in each class.

 

The Junior Committee Cup: awarded for best overall contribution, to someone who has not otherwise been awarded a cup or trophy.

 

The Fawcus Cup: awarded to the school with the most first prizes.

 

The Brian Anscomb Cup: a commemorative cup for the best exhibit, judges’ opinion

 

The CRGT Cup: Best exhibit in the spirit of this year's theme, ‘PARIS and OLYMPICS’.

 

Group Work Trophies: awarded for best in each age range.

 

For Pre-school children: a certificate will be awarded instead of prize money.

 

For Group work: certificates will be awarded instead of prize money.

Don't forget!

 

  • All junior cups will be presented in the main arena at 4:00 PM. 

  • Please make sure that someone is at the arena to collect your cup if you are unable to attend.

  • Prizes may be collected from the Junior end of the marquee as soon as we have added up all the points!

  • The winners will be displayed, and results also published on the website.

The Junior exhibition is open to all to enjoy until 5:15 PM, when you may return to collect your work, any exhibits not collected at the end of the day maybe thrown away (recycled!).
